i’m truly saddened by the fact that portugal didn’t reach the final. it would’ve been THE MATCH to watch but i’m sure many would think otherwise. portugal have played well with the addition of a few unnecessary blunders.i’d give the french team credit for proving themselves worthy of coming this far after their last unimpressive performance in the 2002 world cup. being that it’ll be zidane’s last match in the final after having announced his retirement from the sport, he deserves all the glory.
i’m praying real hard + fingers & toes crossed that italy wins the 2006 world cup & that portugal defeats the germans for 3rd placing! go portugal!
